11.11.06: Kiwi Comes Home from the Vet

This is the buster e-collar bedecked visage that greeted me at the vet's on Tuesday.

I came home after picking her up to catch some more Z's before school, and she settled right next to me until Ian snapped this picture.

You can't see it so well here, but she's got a purple bandana I yanked from our puggy bank. The blue tag is her AVID microchip tag. The chip itself is up on her right shoulder.

REAL pugs eat WHEATIES.

Totally unrelated to Kiwi, but I'll have it known that she approves of my new Wacom stylus holder, a Don-Don figurine that I found to be irresistably adorable.

11.06.06: Three Days of Kiwi

I introduce to you, KIWI THE KILLER. And yes, that is her official name in the vet records, hee. Ignore the tag, that's just a temp tag the breeder gave me until I move and have a permanant address to put on the tag.

She's usurped Thomasina's spot, and sleeps right between Ian and me at night, on my pillow, like a little bundling pug. (Remember the bundling cow?)

She's a tiny thing, only eleven pounds, but she's so energetic that she just wears herself out.

When she's doing something she knows she isn't supposed to, such as eating the cats' food, she'll scoot towards the object of her undoing on her belly.

...and she KNOWS she can be a little snot at times.

She follows me EVERYWHERE, and emulates a lot of my actions, too, right down to hitting the keyboard with her paws. So here she is, talking to Mid ;P

Many thanks to KC, Neo, and Mid for driving me out to Olympia on Friday to pick her up :3
